« The future of private law »

Résumé
In private law there is no lack of challenges. Increasing Europeanisation and globalisation and technological progress raise the question what private law will look like in the future. This talk will speculate about the most likely course private law will take in the coming 20 to 30 years. Special attention will be paid to the decreasing role of contract law in setting rights and obligations of parties.
